CJ Designs Billet Fuel Filler Neck – KTM 1090/1190 /1290 ADV

Get rid of the fuel cap key and replace the OEM unit with a clean and cool looking Billet Filler.

This will work with all tank bags too.   As an added bonus for trail riders and any rider concerned with dirt contamination getting to the fuel pump, a drop in, removable and cleanable fuel filter option is available.

– screw on filler cap easy to use with gloves.

– no need to remove the key from switch.

– Optional Drop in Fuel Pre-filter.

– Low profile allows Tank Bag usage.

INSTALL INFO:

– Remove gas tank top cover.  – Open stock cap with key and place rag in tank opening to stop anything from dropping in.   – Remove the OEM filler neck.

– Reuse OEM base gasket. Swap that over to CJ Designs filler.   Left side drain hose is no longer used (that was the overfill hose). Remove OEM right breather hose.

– Over a work bench with a catch tray, remove plastic OEM breather fitting from OEM filler and refit this to CJ Designs filler with supplied hardware.

• FOR OFF ROAD USE.

*** Note !  When removing the plastic breather fitting – there is a small ball bearing that may want to fly out, don’t lose it.  We don’t have spares. ***

–  Now is a good time to make sure that this breather line is not pinched and flows air.    In stock setup, this goes back to the charcoal canister.   Refit to tank, to OEM specs with supplied hardware.
