Now available to the public after the “normal” CJ Designs torture test.  This expedition storage box was tested on all three bikes that went on the 16,000 mile WI-AK-MEX trip, summer of 2011 and got several thousand miles more testing on some of CJ’s various other trips through the fall of 2011. Still being used on our travel and trail bike to this day.

-Mounts where your left side exhaust pipe was – requires that you have a 2-1 right side exhaust on the bike. Uses the KTM rubber mounting point to reduce solid mounted aluminum work hardening issues. Don’t solid mount this to your bike. See related items below for exhaust options

– Strong construction with a rolled rear edge to give good strength and a tight seal
– Cap has a rubber seal to keep all the elements out
– Simple cam buckle strap to latch the cap – strong and fool proof
– Large removable cap can be used as a storage tray when working on the bike – don’t lose those little bits and pieces in the dirt.
– Easy to add and remove items from square box
– Aluminum construction with stainless hardware
– Powder coated versions can take up to 1 week longer to ship.

What do we store in here?
We kept a standard size front and rear tube, our Tool Roll, a pair of gloves,  tire irons, 16 tooth sprocket and a few rags.  No need to rummage around the bottom of your luggage to find those tools when needed in a pinch.  This is also speeds up hitting the trails.   Once you get to camp, just drop your luggage and all your essentials are still on the bike.
